"Pick your battles"
I think "pick your battles" is good advice, but some annoying lil dipshits pick "all" the battles.
Every slightest thing they do not like or understand, they blow it completely out of proportion and overreact. "Why" this, as though you owe them a reason, and the reason has to be ok with them. "Can you", as though just b/c you "can" do something, you have to. (For example: "Can you please go commit suicide? You can do anything you set your mind to."). "Huh" and "what" instead of "excuse me." (Only four people consented to saying "excuse me" instead of "huh" or "what" to me, and three of them are professional counselors. And I am not in contact with any of them anymore and have not been for a long time.) They act like every time they are not happy, it proves that someone violated their stupidass "rights".
drama queens
I do not have the energy to explain every slightest thing to them.
A lot of the time, I just appease them b/c I am too tired to argue with them, but then a couple years later, I regret not arguing with them.
I don't know exactly what happened because I wasn't there to watch. Some of these people's behaviors are unacceptable, such as being so casual about suicide. But for the rest, it appears to me that you're also a drama queen.
For example, why can't people ask why? Lol why? They're allowed to ask for an explanation when they don't understand something, which doesn't mean that you owe them one.
And no, you can't just ask people to stop using some words and expect them to do so. You're not the language police.
I don't mean to be harsh, but there are speech patterns in which neurotypicals will never cease engaging, just like us autistics folks will continue expressing ourselves the way we do regardless of what NT people say.
I also regret not arguing about certain things because of tiredness, so I understand that unfortunately
