A few things are starting to come into place, but there is still more stuff that needs to be done before "classic" Tim returns.

An old, good friend recently yanked away an entire point from my "faith in humanity" by <sigh> completely misinterpreting something that I wrote; a different old friend than the one I talked about yesterday, but apparently this old friend thought I was talking about him, even though that conclusion lacks a great amount of sense. I am Jack's complete lack of surprise. Given enough time, it seems humans never fail to disappoint, even those you least expect to do so.

EDIT: Recursive Irony Alert: I just realized the friend who just completely misinterpreted my last message in this thread misinterpreted a message about a friend misinterpreting my writings; essentially, a complaint over a misinterpretation about a complaint about a misinterpretation. 8O

Good fortune,

- Icarus blames all of his problems on AS and everyone else... apparently.

The misunderstanding with my friend was quickly and smoothly resolved; seems there was more sense in my friend's conclusion than I was aware of. I'm restoring the point lost for lack of faith in humanity; t'was but a glancing blow, but even a glancing blow can be a serious thing when delivered to something already wounded.

And, I'm adding another half-point for a great dream cycle last night. I was a Professor of Xenomophology at Mikatonic University in Arkham, about 50 years in the future. 8O 8) The dream was incredibly rich and detailed, my adventures were thrilling, creepy, and slightly romantic; but I'll save them for myself this time. On my way to work this morning, I noticed that the sky was the same pale grey as in my dream, which was both fascinating and disconcerting. It made me realize that the sky is always overcast if my dreams are about daytime, but the stars are always out when my dreams are about nighttime.

Good fortune,

- Icarus teaches in the Dreamlands...

I am very upset. I can't do any of the things I want to do and my life isn't becoming very good.
My AS is so bad that I can't even go out in the daytime because the sunlight hurts my eyes and people talk to me, so I get scared.
Everything is really bad right now. :(

This is probably a really dumb suggestion, but have you tried sunglasses? I understand the issue with brightness, most of the time I try to avoid going outside if it is a clear day. I think that's another reason that I like gray, cloudy days, when many consider them to be somehow depressing.

Probably another dumb suggestion, but do you have an mp3 player or a CD player? I don't know what the situations may be in which people are trying to talk to you, but if it is just random, especially if they do not know you, having headphones in can greatly cut that down a fair amount.

Somewhere around an 8. Same cause for the good mood as always. A bit lower than normal due to a headache, and anxiety due to a phone interview in about two hours. I hate talking on the phone. Well, the vast majority of cases where I would be, there are times where I really enjoy it, but this isn't one of them. The good news is that if I can stumble through the interview well enough, I might be a step closer to finally getting a job.
