The purpose of this thread is to receive any replies at all, be it insults or derogatory remarks about me; anything's better than nothing.

Hello there, what is the weirdest thing you have eaten? I'll go first, I have eaten a snail once at a French restaurant. Tasted like garlic because it was smothered in it :)

anything

There, I posted "anything".

Anything that has to be smothered in garlic in order to taste okay probably shouldn't be eaten.

What are your special interests?

That's at least a pretty good way to get talking with people who share them. (Hint, hint... :D ) I assume, if you're that interested in some response, you'd prefer to get into an actual discussion with someone. After all, it isn't that hard for us to get insulted, denigrated, etc. :wink: Even since I left high school, I've never found it that difficult, although it has never been so easy as then, either. :lol:

Sorry if you don't like my warped sense of humour...

London Town is burning down,
Falling down, to the ground.
I won't let that get me down;
I'm Californian!

Probably more than even you know... I read a year or two ago about a restaurant in China - a very high priced one - where the only thing they serve is various animal penises. :eew: I might not have believed it, but the article included a photo of a serving platter... :eew:

Reading? That was my very first special interest. :D I developed a reputation as the kid who could read anything, a walking dictionary, the kid who walked home with his nose in a book... :D

God, I could go for a milk chocolate bar with hazelnuts. That s**t is the most wonderful (even bordering on orgasmic) substance in existence for me.

I saw a show about that. Some of it is illegal. And some of it is sold as medicine.

Edit: It's amazing how threads get derailed so quickly... Are all forums like this? Or is it just because it's an ASD forum? :P
