They say that if you can visualize somthing positive, it will come true...

I don't think things would work out just by visualizing them, except in rare cases...you have to put a lot of effort into it...
But I do agree that visualizing can help you keep your focus, thus heightening the possibility of achieving your goals...

I picture a slender woman, intelligent and focused, balanced and stable...
I can see her in a sky blue shirt with two indian red stripes across the chest...She is wearing a navy blue yoga pants that fits comfortably...She is wearing silver earrings...
She has curly black hair and sparkling eyes full of mirth and a mouth that ooze out friendliness and compassion..
She writes books, creates art, teaches at a university, practices yoga, and performs modern dance...
She does therapeutic work with those who benefit from it...
She is happy and secure...she loves herself and those around her...She no longer relies on food for comfort...
She is able to aspire for the ideal while at the same time embracing the imperfect reality...
She has created a family...with a husband and children and lovely purring cats...
She is constantly working on the issues of her life, but her mind is calm and peaceful throughout the process...
She owns a perfect kitchen made mostly of oak...
She has a private spa set up in her home...with sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi...
She grows herbs and plants out of which she makes tea, bath salts, aroma oils, and aroma pouches...
She is caring, nurturing and patient...she is able to bear the weight of reality and be responsible for herself, for the ones she love, for the choices she make...
She is in control, and she is able to make wise choices, she is able to handle various situations in life in a mature way....
She is able to listen to others and to effectively express herself...
She is able to be there for her loved ones...and for the people that need her help...
She is able to communicate with people...She is heard...and she hears...

I'd like to have big muscles, absolutely huge (I've been weight training for a year or so, I've gotten much stronger able to do things I'd never have dreamed of before... But my muscles don't actually look that impressive, my arms are half the size of people weaker then me, just the way my bodies built). Lose the little bit of a gut I do have, get contacts, and a girlfriend. Don't care what the girlfriend looks like as long as she doesn't have anything seriously wrong with her, she actually cares about me as much as I care about her.

I have enough money to retire but I work anyways, as a Registered Nurse in a hospital

I spend my spare time writing books about the sadness of others (my life has been so absorbed with sadness that all of my stories involve sad people or people in sad situations).

I have a house, with some land around it.

I have a dog (I also have one of those golf ball shooters so that I don't have to emberass myself trying to throw a ball).

I spend a lot of time taking long walks on my land... I'd like to have enough land that I could spend an entire day walking from one side to the other. I like walking, and I find that when I'm having a bad day or things in my life are going bad its good to take a long walk and get lost. By the time you find where you are you've usually foudn the answer yo your problem.

I just like being me. I don't want to look or act like someone I'm not.

I want to be MUCH thinner than I am now! I hate being a friggin size 18-20 and I want to be size 10-12 at least! I'm picturing my ideal self: someone who has the motivation and energy to do it, to stop living to eat and start only eating to live, to get off her fat arse and actually do some exercise!

Hey, I totally agree to the 'should stop living to eat and start eating to live' thing...I heard there are fasting retreats where you have to live on fruit & vegetable juice for nine days...It's supposed to be healthy both physically and spiritually...I might look into it...oh...but fasting for a period of time doesn't solve the root of the problem...I need to be transformed...

Things would much improve if only I were not depressed and could make sense of things.
