The only female Aspie who liked South Park and was also single (the one I have been talking to for over a year) doesn't like South Park anymore.

Tim, if you talked to her for over a year you must have had other things you liked to talk about besides South Park. Does that mean its over?

No, it's on hold for at least 6 months. But South Park was the central reason I was attracted to her.

with fewer well meaning people trying to solve my problems, I would be doing alot better. How do I get rid of them?

My self-esteem has taken a nose dive and I feel really ugly for some reason.

You're quite attractive and certainly very far from ugly.

*pours self-esteem into Nico*

I hope you feel better soon
I understand how you feel, I can't stand so many parts of my body. I just have to remind myself ALL THE TIME that I'm smart, and even IF I wasn't beautiful, it doesn't matter in overall life.
It's hard to convince yourself of this...just have to say it more then the negative stuff.

4. I have a lot of homework from just one class and I'm getting a bit slow in my chemistry class. Also, I usually get a little lonely on WP from time to time, when there's nobody to talk to.

Those thoughts will pass eventually. It's just a mood swing from what it sounds like.

Though I'm being a hypocrit, because I've always considered myself hideous and stupid to extraordinary degrees :?

Now I'm a -2
I can't work now as I am falling asleep as I type, and I'm on a field trip for the morning, so I don't get my resource. I'll have to rush through through it at lunch today though!

What's wrong?

My thread pretty much sums it up: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt62845.html
I wish I could hug you right now. I can't really post right now, as I have to go, but I've gone through verbal and sexual abuse, and so I somewhat understand what you're going through.

Works in my favour that i'm "unhuggable" at this point in time, i cant handle anyone displaying any kind of emotion to me of any kind, even my mother trying to hug me freaks me out, not that it feels bad just.... i dont know. i always thought it might have something to do with my past because instead of learning how to handle emotion, i learned how to handle pain, its all i know, any kind of good thing just feels too weird to me i just either jump back or have to force myself to stay still i just dont have any clue what the im supposed to do with that, dont know if i have AS or not yet, not sure if maybe thats more of an AS trait or not, theres a few things i always thought must be to do with my childhood but apparently are AS symptoms, dont know if anyone else has that problem though.

It might be symptoms from your awful childhood.
If you're looking to change, a book that might help you regain your self-esteem is Self Matters by Dr. Phil McGraw. It really helped me find some of my self-esteem back.

On the plus side, I lost some weight, and I am now down to 190 lbs. (My goal is to get down to 160 lbs.)
