This is JMHO but I feel.... Death is only sad for those of us left behind to miss the one who has died.

I believe we only have one life to live, but If we do it right , one is all we need. ~~~Mae West~~~

I used to believe in the recycling of souls, but that would mean that we do go on to live more lives than one. But even if we did , we are not the same people with the same brain and we have no idea we ever lived before so it is still just this one life.
When I believed in reincarnation , I wasted time , I felt well, I have more lives to live , im here to learn and advance for the next one.
Now that I believe in this life only, I am kinda pissed off at my self for wasting so much precious time .
But it is what it is and I am going to make the best of it, I am not about to give up now that iv'e just begun to live.

if anyone has read this or anything I have written THANK YOU

The suspense and pain of dying can be very sad and scary for the person dying or about to be killed. :(

If I knew I was dying I would be terrified and severely depressed.

TW1ZTY , I too am afraid to die , I do remember a time when I was so depressed I wanted to die , but I did not want to do a thing like that and hurt my son.
Your not alone , I don't really know what to believe but I think it is not our job or decision when we go. I sometimes think about the saying that we can be so afraid of dying that we never really live , and I would think that would be sad for you and me , and for anyone who is afraid of death. IT IS SAD , and you know we all know we will die ....but I don't think any of us really believe it . I just cannot imagine not being alive. I want to thank you for reading what I wrote and answering me i feel honoured by you for that and I appreciate that you did. You did something for me that made me feel more alive and I cannot think of anything better THANK YOU TW1ZTY for that. I hope when your feeling better we can talk that would be terrific for me. Hopefully i have something to add to your life . I know you have something to add to my because you already have. Thank You again.

I've dabbled in wicca before but I'm not an expert in it. I know they honor the ancient Pagan Deities of the Celtics, Greeks & Romans, Norse, Mesopotamians, and Egyptians but they pretty much believe ALL Gods and Goddesses are real, right? Even the Christ God. :)

And of course the "Rule of Three". Anything you do, good or bad, comes back to you 3x.

I'm also a big fan of the movie "The Craft". I bet you would love it. 8)

Honestly I think I'm truly agnostic.

Well say heaven and hell both exist. What if some of the people you love get seperated from you and go to hell when they die because they did bad things? Thats pretty sad. :(

you have to do some pretty bad things before the trend heads in that direction. worse than what you and me might do on our worst days. IOW we tend to not know or be close to such people. sociopathic types are in their own circles for which what you said, would indeed apply. sad for them.

I like to think of death as being the Great Equalizer. No matter who or what we are we are all headed to the same place when we die. Death embraces all of us with her cold embrace when our time comes. :skull:
