It's a comic series about five girls with magical powers. It's published by Disney, and was in a girl's magazine I used to read. I used to be obsessed with it when I was younger.

Dear Father,
I am not so incompetent that the only way I will get a job is by doing voluntary work. My difficulties in finding work have been, for the most part, because I am already working in the afternoons and am thus unavailable for full-time work. So please don't do your usual thing of putting me down under the guise of helping me.

In addition, I did hear your muttered comment of "go and support yourself" after mum pointed out that I already have a lot of work. Three things:

1. At least have the guts to say it when mum's listening; surely you can stand up to your own wife?
2. It's not all that long since I came out of full-time study, I can't be expected to just waltz into full-time employment, and it's not as though I haven't been looking for work.
3. If it weren't for mum you'd be out on the streets as you don't work enough to support yourself (don't give me that crap about how much work you do with the pamphlets, we both know that mum does most of the work) and you are too much of a lazy coward to find decent work.
