He fully understood and agreed that I can only work so many hours. He wrote an letter to my work saying so.

Your super condescending. You’d probably tell a paralyzed person that people who want to walk would find a way so you must just be lazy.
Will power doesn’t defeat reality. I can’t handle working ful, time, I’ve tried and it was too much for me. Why can’t you just accept that. Please leave me alone or I’ll contact the mods. You ignore what I say and keep pushing say I’m jus flaky and making up excuses, it’s not ok to come to a disability site and then tell people their issues are fake.

Sly, question! Why don't you believe you can work full time?

Because I tried in the past and I barely manage part time. I think about quitting every week. If I can barely handl 15 hours why would anyone think I can handl 40-60 hours a week.

Sly, why can you barely manage part time? What specific issues crop up exactly?

It physically exhausts me probably from all the social interactions and anxiety from all the tasks, but whatever it is I get off from a 3-5 hour shift exhausted, out of it and usually depressed from the women.
Then there’s my adhd and the fact a lot of the time I’m doing nothing but walking in circles or standing doing nothing waiting for a customer.
I feel most people would not be tired after a short shift. It’s to the point I prefer the 3 hour shifts. The boredom drives me near crazy. I really can not fathom how the other guy does 8-9 hour shifts 5 days a week.

I’m not alone there’s quite a few aspie here who can’t handle over part time if they can handle that even.

Ok, so what is your job exactly? Why would the women at your job depress you? <<<<I don't get this part.

What are your tasks exactly? And, are you under some disability vocational rehabilitation? And, are you on SSDI now?

Another, have you worked other jobs before and if so can you itemize them out and what you did there please?

Have you looked into jobs that aren't customer interaction oriented? sounds like you work in customer service or retail, to me that kind of work sounds like hell on earth. I mean I think I could handle a longer shift doing labor than I could doing customer service. So just a thought that it could be related to the type of work you're doing its not uncommon that social interactions can burn out autistic people more than neurotypicals.

When I started they had me working 38 then it was 20 as of most recently. I couldn’t handle it so it’s been decreasing.

A picture is worth 1000 words, and  sums it up nicely.

Just observing others discussing the exact same things with sly that I have several times over. Also waiting for someone to point out that sly admits he used to work a lot more hours and thus it is possible for him to work towards doin again. Oops; spoiler, my bad. Someone else can still feel free to discuss it, though.

Did you see my Questions?

As for dating and women, put dating on the back burner. Concentrate on doing what you can for yourself and what is realistic for you. As for these women putting you down don't let some low rent skank define your self worth. If they don't like you for you or what you choose to do with your life or what not then they can stick their heads up their asses. Try to set out not to give 500 f***s.

Just in case any of you need a reminder: I don’t say any of these things as someone who’s never been there or done that. 6 years ago I couldn’t really work at all, but for the last 5 I have managed more than full time work. So, I know first hand that it’s possible to go from full time, to not almost not at all, and then back to full time plus via hard work and dedication IF someone is determined to get back to work & life.

I'm sorry my bad , I forgot that you know Sly inside out and know his abilities , obviously his only problem is lacking hard work and dedication - have your owners been putting crack in your fish flakes
