The root cause is an emotional reaction, not a fact. You can always change even if the fact is not modified. There is choice, acceptance, hope and healing.
Additionally I can choose to react nastily whenever something doesn't go my way or doesn't change instead of dealing with my frustration and focusing on how my crowd touches my hips.
When there's a history of hurt that comes with multiple past situations, the frustration increases, you can become overwhelmed and drained by the past. Instead of asking why does this keep happening to me, ask why do I keep happening to this?
