Dear blonde graduate in the soprano section of the university chamber choir who sits in front of me:

Yes, I AM planning to sing in the concert next week. I missed two damn rehearsals, because I broke my wrist.

"Well, you know... we just haven't seen you around for awhile..and it's next week." Thanks for the info. Now mind your own business and don't talk to me.

Sheesh, I remember you gave me a hard time last semester too when I first got in: "Um, could you sing softer? Because I can't hear myself over you." It's marked fortissimo, genius. Here's an idea- how bout you sing louder?

Sincerely,
the-withdrawn-brunette-soprano-with-the splint-on-her-hand

Dear little black dog I met on my way home from choir practice:

Thank you for letting me pet you, and then giving me doggy kisses. You were very sweet and fluffy. You made me stop thinking about the blonde graduate in the soprano section of the university chamber choir who sits in front of me.

Sincerely,
Me

P.S. -I hope you weren't lost.

Dear Mum,

Thanks for not caring about my college exam results. You've really ruined a great day. Thanks.

Your ever-suffering daughter,

~N

Dear people who flaunt and swing around their common sense and sanity and stability and sense and wisdom and education,

if you were only doing that I'd be proud of you. You're supposed to be proud of your good qualities. But you put others down whom you decide or decide to say don't have wisdom or discretion or sense or education or any of that.

You are the most uneducated, insane, unsensible, unwise, unstable, indiscreet pieces of s**t out there.

Dear society,

I may be damaged or different but please please try to fix me. Don't throw me away or destroy me or destroy me and throw me away or throw me away to be destroyed. Please, give me a chance. Most people prefer not to fix things because they can just get a new one, there's plenty. So if something gets damaged or almost destroyed, they'll destroy it or throw it away or destory it and throw the remains away. I may be more far gone than most people in your society but not DONE FOR yet, so don't throw me away yet or put me away or destroy me.

Thanks.

Ana

Dear people who try to reason with me when I'm understimulated,

the only thing that will fix me is stimulation. I'm not stupid. I'm not ignorant. I don't need to be educated or have sense talked into me. I'm understimulated. I need to be stimulated. Thanks for understanding.

Ana,
I like you. Try not to let a***holes upset you. If you ignore them, if you live well despite them, you win.

Dear Ana

Sounds like my siblings who treat me with no respect (I respect them and try to look out for them) because I have this Aspergers thing.

Sometimes families suck. But sometimes they're great.

Kezza.

Dear WP,

I promise I'm not going to be depressing and bitchy and miserable like this forever. I always knew I would have to get all this out and would when I finally knew how to explain it. Now I jsut know how to explain it. And I promise it won't last long. I know I don't have so much that I'll need to go on like this forever or for a long time. Thanks for not somehow finding fault with it.
