When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I'm about a three at the moment. Really discouraged about my new job... which I love. My boss reminds me more than anyone else of Monk... two aspies, one with OCD, both with PMT...

URGH.

I'm not actually doing too badly. The move was stressful, sorting out a school for my son was stressful, meeting all these people in the office was stressful... but the job itself was fine, since I've done most aspects of it before.

The only problem I'm having is that my boss turns out to be an aspie with OCD... she is of course brilliant at what she does, but can't delegate, and can't recognise anyone else's contribution. I've just discovered that of five people she hired to a job in the last five years, every single one of them walked because of the stress. So, right now, I'm feeling vulnerable.

However, I am feeling much better now about where we live, a much nicer area than before, and my son isn't yet happy at school... but at least he knows that nobody is going to beat him up.

I only got online at home in the last few weeks, and I've missed a place to commune with others.

1. The Weekend! When shiny happy people do shiny happy things, and I'm not one of them. Id rather be back in the lab. At least I have a reason to exist there, even if it's only for others to steal my reagents.
