I seem to be much better than most when it comes to understanding mathematical ideas, especially ones that are connected in some way with physics. I recently scored 100% for every assignment I submitted for a course I completed earlier this year. I've noticed that people use calculators a lot, even for the working out of basic arithmetical problems, but they just slow me down so I don't use them (even though I have one, and I sometimes in my spare time just play with it, because that's one of the things I like doing).
