ok i have read though all 25 pages of this and many times I was just disgusted. please people get a frekaing life we all have aspgeregs on this thread and most of us get at least one person hating on us. for me my freinds are all normal non aspie they can't tell since I have a mild case they are very good freinds but the adluts all group me togehther with all the other asapies who have social problems and give bies steyiotypes. the other kids in my aspegers suport group in the resoruce room at school always make fun of me for trying to be a cool aspie nad fit in with the crowd they say I am a poser. now to the point if we are hated on my at least one person for having aspergers which is unfair cuz thats who you are. it is hypacrteical for you aspies to do the same thing to the emos on here they label them self as emo cuz they feel thats who they are. i am skater/bmxer and the other aspies say i am a skate/bmx poser and they say i don't fit that catgorey when i don't fit anything they think cuz I have aspegers I can ether fit no catgorey or be nerd can't be anything including emo which is why are oyu aspies on here are bashing emos. being part skater and part bmxer besides getting along other bmxers and skaters i also get along with jocks,preps and emos i have freinds from meach of these groups. emos are kinda like skaters that don't skateboard who quit cuz my buddy curtis talyor stoped skateboading for a few years( so did I) and he was so emo after he quit i would been consdired emo too if I had also given up bmxing for those 4 years now i do both agian since skaters and emos dress nad wear hair simular and listen ot simlar types of music emo and punk are both very close and i listen to bands that fit both emo and punk such as cute is what we aim for, escape the fate,sesnes fail and siverstein. I don't feel like you people understand the value if being in a catogorey if everyone was consisderd a person oyu know how boring and lame the world would be these catgores give us chactiter so just leave the emos alone and let them be them selfs what you are doing is not gnarley it is gnarley lame. girls with the l and garra pics I think we shoudl be freinds cuz I like anime too and death note and naruto are both gnarley cool I have seen all the episodes and read all the chapters of both seris they both are sick yo also we can talk about emo and skate pop culture including music clothes and looks.

And ain, you think I'm attacking you, or someone directly. You think when I said the word "You" i actually was referring directly to yourself? You misunderstand. I don't know you. How can I say anything about you. I respect your authority, but I'd appreciate words not being put into my mouth. Surely you should have the insight to look beneath the words and realise I'm only critisising the mentality of emo. An action which I don't believe has broken any rules.

I would just like to pose a question to Silyskaterdude.

Which process of thought would result in a greater formation of self identity and individualism?

A. The prescribing to an ideal of a "Category" where you are pigeon-holed into believing the exact same things as everyone else, and any deviation from that structure of beliefs is seen as the actions of a traitor, the mindless and droning obssession with Jack Skellington, and the overzealous LOVE for Nightmare Before Christmas, sometimes without even seeing the film, purchasing every single object of associated merchandise you can afford, just so you can fit in with the crowd of people who allegedly claim "I don't love Jack coz everyone else does. I love him coz I always have since I was little".

OR......

B. The ongoing formation of a singular personality within your own mind shaped and nourished by your own PERSONAL life experiences and actions. A personality that will stand out as someone to admire. Even if its simply because you have an inbuilt, or at least a learned objection to be ther same as everyone else, and a continual propulsion to be a better person each and everyday. The will to form your own unique opinions about any matter which you choose to turn your attention to.

The whole reason that emos are referred to as a unit and a mass crowd is that very reason. Its a crowd. Nothing more, nothing less. There are no individuals who can be easily distinguished from the flock.

The human mind is a wonderful thing. And no matter how you cut the cheese, the label of "emo" is debilitating and degrading to the human psychological capacity for imagination, inspiration and creativity.

I know my words always seem like I'm attacking people directly when its blatantly obvious what I'm saying. Well I assure you all I am staying within the boundaries of the rules and putting my own view across as I urge you all to do the same.

Have your own mind. And use it. Without fear. Without restraint.

the implications of your reprimands would suggest that you are ensuring me that i'm teetering towards the edge. I assure you I am not. I am fully aware of the rules. I read them before I even read any threads. And another revision of anything I have said should confirm in your mind that I have not broken those rules at any point.

well I'm glad we got that sorted out. next time i will probably include a disclaimer in my signature just to avoid any discrepancies. lol.

Dang, thats a good answer dude. I know you say you only have average intelligence but I think you underestimate yourself. You have shown you have the will to stand out and also the will to express that opinion. The Aspie world needs spokespeople who are not in any way swayed by the stereotypes of the world, or at least not employed by Autism Speaks. lol. That was a good answer dude. And the right one. In my opinion, you are not an emo. Your an intelligent human being with a mind of his own.
