I'm almost done my 1500 word essay on mythology! It was a lot easier than I expected [probably because it's about something I actually love for a change!]

i seem to be getting better at drawing exponentially. (well, almost.)

i always turn my assignments in on time and have near perfect attendance.

I'm having a really bad day and just posted in the rants section, and saw this thread and thought it might help me to feel better.

So.. um...

I think I'm a petty cool mom because when my 12 year old daughter got high honor roll all four semesters last year in 6th grade, I rewarded her by taking her to Vans Warped Tour.

A few days ago I secured tickets to take her to see All Time Low with Sleeping with Sirens tonight, because she always goes to my concerts with me so that I'm not going alone, and I feel that I need to respect her different taste in music and take her to the ones she likes in return.

As a result, she's got some self esteem developing in regards to her schoolmates, which helps her social anxiety (which is as bad as mine always was, heck IS), because the other kids regard her as very knowledgeable about music.

- made a new meaningful human conection
- socialized a LOT with good results
- stood up for myself

i did some preliminary sketches for my barrier platform and they came out much sexier than expected. pretty good at it, it seems.
