Am I too damn analytical for my own good? :(

Worrying about this has created a toxic feedback-loop that makes you think more and more about less and less.
Indeed, it does!

Be comfortable in being wrong! It happens. learn, play, correct yourself later.
Sound advice. I will make the same attempt!

*smiles* Thanks, Luke...you've really given me something to think about. ^_^
Maybe if I learned not to worry so much about being wrong, I'd have a lot more fun with life.
Hehe, and I can give you a funny example of how a mistake lead to a big laugh between me and my family, just yesterday. You see, I was talking with my brother about World of Warcraft, and how I was sick of dying all the times at the final Heroic Bosses, but getting credit anyway at the end. I concluded by saying "That's like being given a post-partum award!" (It should've been 'posthumous') Mom, Dad, and my brother cracked up at hearing that, and my brother capped it off by saying "So after you have a baby, you get an award?" And that's what set me off laughing as well.
You See? I CAN have fun with making mistakes after all.
