I think the OP clearly knows what depression is. If you have never felt really good it's a good indication of a dysfunction of the brain and not situational. Not all situational depressions go away by themselves either. I just stopped trying to do more than I can handle and to appreciate the small incidental pleasures as I can. That, however, is what I can do with meds.

i understand why you are upset with me
i may seem like an arrogant know-it-all
but i'm just drawing from my own experiences and hoping it may help you in some way
i know, i can't know exactly what your feeling or what you have to deal with
it was wrong of me to make assumptions like that
i'm just trying to understand you, thats all.
I'm deeply sorry. please forgive me

Chill the f**k out.
You're not the only one with problems in the world.

Coming on here and belittling others time's of hardship isn't doing you any good nor anyone else.
You don't have a monopoly on pain and suffering, k?
If you want help or just sympathy you're going about it the wrong way.
You're making the mistake of using your personal experience as the criteria for judgment on others.

I'm sorry your life sucks. asdsa was being perfectly kind to you. I hope you understand that someday.

You are so rude. You are not the only person in the world to have depression or lifelong depression. Even if you were, trying to make other people as miserable as you are is not the answer.

I was diagnosed with depression in 6th grade. When I was 16, my shrink said I had moderate depression. But guess what? I always got happy and I would get sad again. I even took pills for it and now I don't anymore and my depression is gone. I have a husband now and I have something to be happy about. I was depressed a few years ago though because I hated where I lived and then when I moved, I was still unhappy because I wasn't settled in yet. I would still get happy but at the back of my mind I still be depressed. Then I met my husband and I was more happy but I was still depressed at the back of my mind. Then my depression went away once I got settled in and I had a partner.
