I can also speed-read. For the most part i read whole sentences at a time rather than individual words. I'm not sure if that's savant or not though.
and i too am really good with grammar. Although i can't just glance at a page and instantly see it like you can, i have to skim through it first.

How fast can you read by the way? Like for example, how long would it generally take you to read a novel of such and such number pages?

As for me, i'll blaze through an approximately 700-page novel in probably less than half a night. Though that 1400-something-page harry potter book took me a little under 11 hours .

Ideas just sort of pop in my head at random when I'm not trying. I'm to obsessive compulsive to write a song & I have no musical talent except for being able to memorize a lot of useless songs. I can also remember lots of quotes & stuff related to TV eps & I do seem to have somewhat of a funny creative spark as well cuz I can make people lath & impress em at times in random conversations but only if I know em a bit & feel somewhat comfortable with em. It mite could be a fairly useful skill/talent if I did not have AS & other issues. It's like Aspergers & other disabilities are overwhelming my true self. I cannot be person I am/was supposed to be. If that makes any sense

Me, me! My one savant skill was learning to read. I learned how to read practically overnight with no help from anyone, and I could immediately read adult novels. And that was it for my savant skills.
