The human mind is weak, I say smack them if they try to rob you and even if they beat you up they will think twice about doing it again because they don't want to go through the proses of fighting. Most bullies and robbers are simple minded folk and can easily be trained to not f**k with you.
But you need to take the first step and stand up for yourself. The message you'll be sending is "I won't stand for this crap".

So, fight back.

emobolize one at a time, done it before- not my problem if you can't do it yourself. Can be done quickly if you know what you are doing.

ya, just take advantage of what you can, the more martial arts you can master the better they will ALL help. Maybe not the best as another has said but my personal favorite would be ji jitsu, I’m personally not quick enough for taekwon-do….if you are then go into some of the others that take advantage of quickness. Try some kick boxing….

sounds like your weight room is a little dilapidated, which probably means they don’t really care who goes in there maybe? I would just go in there and start lifting like a mad man, make up your own lifts that will best suit your fighting style. For instance my style was to get what ever limb I can grab and lock it down and break/or suffocate. If you like your current style, hold some low weights and try punching. Quickness would probably be your biggest advantage, so low weights as quick as possible with all the usual routines (curls, overhead press, triceps press, pushups with maybe some weight on the back, squats/straight to pushups without any weight, kicks with maybe heavy shoes or if you can find them those weights you put on your ankles.)

If you could hit them one time real good in their temple and knock them out they will probabkly never bother you again....but who knows no bully is the same and I don't know your exact situation. They might just come back stronger and bring 40 people or some BS like that...

In order to do that, you have to remain on your feet, yet every single class of BJJ I've seen has two people rolling on the ground. Judo practitioners are focused on remaining standing, which I couldn't say for BJJ.

Sure, yeah, BJJ trains some stand-up. I can also use a fork to drink tea, but I'd rather use a spoon, y'know?

Tsk tsk. Under no circumstance do you just stand there and take someone's punches. Avoid a fight any way you can, but if you go out, go out swinging. At least you keep some dignity that way.

Stick with the workout and Tae kwon do. I did it too, and became a black belt in about 2 1/2 years. Trust me when I say, your skills will improve tenfold within the next year. You won't believe how good you will get!

if i ran away he'd give chase, and maybe attack my freinds as well. if i fought back, he would've got serious and i'd just get beaten senseless
