Btw, the member is most likely using a proxy, so indeed it is going to be difficult to track his IP and ban the IP range.

Canada and the US both have laws on the books that sound like they would apply in this case.

I hope an IP ban.

I think the mods here need to IP ban him here as well.

SBI, when people register at Aspergeric, is it possible you guys can check their IPs and see if it's from a proxy because if it is, you can decline their membership or maybe set it to approval to keep out proxy IP users because then you can decline them.

Theres internet harassment, and then theres going over the top. They deal with stuff like this. I was getting harassed less than you by an aspergers jerk in my country and I went and they said they would lock him up if it kept happening.

Internet harassment is no better than recieving threatening letters in the mailbox. The fact that this person lives in your country is worse. Also you seem to know who it is, so do something about it.

Keep all threating emails, post, threads and PMs, screenshot them and print them out as evidence.

I don't have enough power to actually set an IP ban to his account nor put him under a banned usergroup, I would have to ask Chris or Willow to do that.

We don't set approvals and they just automatically let you in, it would be nice for Chris to actually enable approval, but the problem is that I can't do anything about it and only Chris could.

Well calling to police will only make my life worse off, I don't want to take this as*hole to court and see the the creepy little w*ker, its better to kill off my membership here, maybe rejoin under a new
name, I know he will return here to make my life a living hell, I do know this person has a sock puppet here possibly several since he has to obsessively make new accounts, but this is out of my hands.

Its up to you, but I'd keep the option open.

Use a new name here and don't post anything that could be used to identify you for awhile.

If so, I'd also make sure the mods are aware when you rejoin and they should make Alex aware of this as well. He might be able to do a bit more to keep this guy off the boards.

I have cleared a lot of posts from this thread and may clear more even though they haven't technically broken any rules; it's about being sensitive to the situation and the OP.
