I have felt that everything that I have posted on the Wrong Planet forums has not been acknowledged or even had a reply. I know others have had this problem in the past. It makes me feel that nobody cares about me, how I feel, what I like or what I have to say. This is supposed to be a community of support for people with Autism and Asperger's but instead it has not given me one bit of support. I get even more depressed when I come on Wrong Planet and look at all the sad, depressing posts in The Haven. Even when I post things on the Art, Music and Writing forum nobody responds or acknowledges my posts. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I have felt even more alienated on Wrong Planet than when I am around my NT friends. It things like this that make me question my existence and make me want to kill myself. If nothing I say or think matters, than I'd be better off dead.

and i should be ashamed?

i tend to stay away from the haven unless i acctualy see a title where i think i could help with. this may sound cruel, but if you're in a bad mood, dont look at the haven. by all means, post something if you need help in any way, perhapes you've just never posted anything that directly implies that you want a reply, like asking someone else a question or something. until you feel good again, i dont recommend looking through other peoples sadness almost personified. im not saying anyone here should be ingnored, we all have our problems freind, but if you're depressed along with other people then you wont be able to help anyone on here. all you'll be able to say to them is: "i agree, i feel the same". you have to feel happy yourself before you read other peoples problems on here. my advice to you is to post whatever it is thats dragging you down in a clear cut way that can be easily understood and responded to by others on here.

what you're saying is pretty selfish acctualy...and thats ok. we all hide behind our fake smiles and pretend were all innocent but we all put ourselves at #1 by default as human beings, if we arent honest about crap like this then everything goes kaput. so if anything i respect that you have the guts to say exactly what you feel like, and your honest oppinion (welcome to asperger syndrome). but if im also allowed to be honest, i dont feel one bit ashamed. i dont really recall seeing you post anything in depth enough for me to reply to.

@right_hand_child Thanks for your post and your advise. You were right about pretty much everything. You didn't sound cruel or rude but you spoke the truth. I will try and stay away from The Haven especially when I'm feeling down. You're right, it does make me feel worse. Thanks again.

I don't understand it either. I don't get many replies. I think that is probably the norm but
I really don't understand like:
'What are you eating?/Last thing you ate?' -- 966 posts
'Describe the underwear you're wearing' -- 275 posts
'What are you wearing right now!' -- 512 posts
'Penis Size' -- 156 posts
'I cured Asperger's on Ecstasy!' -- 185 posts

And yet a lot of post that ask for help or understanding get only a couple replies
Can anyone explain this? or is it just some questions are easier to answer than others and it boosts your post numbers.

Sometimes I look for questions that no one has answered and try to help.

people often wont answer if they dont have anything they can say or do to help you. so to put it simply yes, some questions are easier to answer than others

People who ask for advise or help or support, other people don't know what advice to give or don't know what to say. Or they can't relate to the situation because they have never experianced it before so they don't know what to give.
