Being 17 has been the worst year of my life. Of course it depends what it was like for you at this age, but for me I would never, ever want to go through being 17 again. For me life went downhill from secondary school onwards, when I started to realise the shocking reality of what I had become. Take me back to being 8 any day... 8)

with the exception of my childhood and my army years, most of my life i wore my hair in a pony tail halfway down my back. now that i am an old fart with thinning hair, that won't work anymore, at least not without a wig.

Yeah, I have to agree with the other posters, 17 was the worst year of my life. Although I'm only 18.

It was the age I attempted suicide. :? I'd much rather just wish to start all over again, at a much much earlier age (mid-elementary school), with the knowledge I have now. Socializing stuff I didn't get the first time, I'd understand. And I wouldn't make the same semi-mistakes such as joining the football team where I was pressured to be "normal" and could've gotten a job then instead of suffering from unemployment now. And blah blah...

Although I wish I had a few more years on me. By then ideally I'd be out of my parents' house for good, and no longer trapped; Also would have a paying job, at least part time; And I'd be in a band by then. Life gets better, I'm just tired of waiting. Dx

I'll be 17 in half a year, and this is decidedly the best period of my life so far, not counting ages 0-5. Real friends and very little anxiety in school at long last.

Lol, no one could pay me enough to rewind my life. An eighty year sentence, thirty already served, don't want to do any of it again.

As for my best period it was 20. Then again, I had a lot of pain that came after that.
