There are two types of pneumonia: one caused by bacteria (which you have or else you wouldn't be on antibiotics) and one caused by a virus (in which there is no help for as there is no anti-viral medication). I had bronchitis a 1 1/2 years ago and was sick for about a week or so... you will do just fine.

Not true.
Bronchitis is inflammation of the bronchial tubes. Which is different. If it is severe you may get a Prednisone taper to reduce the inflammation.
Pneumonia is bacterial. Anytime there is infiltrate in the lungs it is an infection.

Yes true.
It is inflammation of the bronchial tubes caused by either a bacteria or viral infection.

Caught Pnuemonia in the spring of 2001. Was in the hospital for 8 days. Made it through OK. 2 weeks after returning from the hospital I had a chest x-ray. Doctors said I made a complete recovery! My 80 year old grandmom caught it in the fall of 2000, was on life support for a few days and recovered completely as well. You'll be OK mate. Keep your spirits up, that will help you recover.

As you all know, I'm very sick with pneumonia. I've just read today that 17 to 25% of the people who have it will die from it, whether they get proper treatment or not. I took all my antibiotics and used up both the inhalers that were prescribed to me. I went into the walk-in clinic for a follow up on Tuesday and got my X-rays taken on Thursday. I won't know the results until Monday. I want to live a long life so that I can practice my good morals in preparation for my afterlife in Heaven. I don't want it to be that I die in my sleep, any night and than wham, bam, fancy meeting you in Heaven, Pete Quaife. I want to earn the privilege over the next 40 to 50 years and than meet him in Heaven knowing that I've earned it over a long life.

how do you know you have not already "earned it"? i.e., why presume you aren't already spiritually deserving of heaven no matter when you go?

I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.

Just do not ignore treatment when you think something is wrong thats what almost killed me with my congestive heart failure. I kept thinking it was something else to talk myself out of going to a doctor for it. I was in an ICU for five days.

I've finished my second bottle of antibiotics and I'm making a quick recovery. I'm going to live and I'm happy to be alive. :)
