hmm I'll take her. You can mail her to me but she must enjoy cooking, cleaning, and as I will be there during child care that is no concern. I love going out to lunch and I have no one to talk to. She sounds as though she'll work if she doesn't mind hibernating in a box for 30 days(we're moving) just drill a few holes in the box and put a big jar of peanut butter with 7 gallons of water.

I will remind everybody that this is the Haven - if you can't or don't want to help, don't post in here. I can't believe how insensitive some posts have been. This is an adult still suffering and struggling with being abused as a child and people think she needs some preaching

I do have to say I feel for both Wuffles and Emlion. On that note, I feel like I must step up rationally and remind everyone that the abuse wasn't mentioned until AFTER Emlion ducked out of the thread to avoid further argument. I think his point is valid in that he was seeing an annoying parent based on what Wuffles has posted thus far. Not an abusive one. And I agree most people that I know would much rather have an annoying parent than no parent. On that note, Good luck to you Wuffles, and I hope you get some reprieve ASAP.

I wasn't doubting your intentions but recommending more care/tact in the Haven. Judging from the other thread, the OP was deeply hurt by what happened in this one and I remember you've also been in a similar position. Realistically speaking things like "it could have been worse" or "I had it worse than you" really don't help, especially when someone is upset
