Well, what kind of person do you want to be? I mean that as a serious question. If you make a list of all the things you want to be, what would the list say?

If you want to be social, try to think of ways to make that happen. Take a social skills or etiquette course if you feel it would help. Start trying to go to social gatherings to get experience interacting. Join a club or organization related to a topic you like or a cause you care about. Take classes so you can meet people. Practice, practice, practice!

"Opportunity doesn't knock. It presents itself when you beat down the door."

Get steppin'....you've got years ahead of you. If your life hasn't started yet, there's no better day than today to start it. Drag yourself outside to take a walk. Put yourself out there. Become the person you want to be!

I just don't get it. I have been social before. I can fake it sometimes, and for awhile I genuinly felt confident when I worked at a supermarket and had to talk to people all the time all day. I have seen the change in me even if only for several months. To be really social just isn't part me I don't. I don't have the energy for that.

My problem I want to stop faking it because its gotten me nowhere. I want to be genuine. I went to several parties here and there and they went terrible from my pov.

I don't know what to say but Im missing something...........I'm missing that stride
