What's the real question here?

Are you worried that other people might class you as dull? Or are you actually feeling bored and frustrated with yourself?

If you're happy, that's fine. Do as you will, and if other people find it 'dull' that's their problem. But if you're longing to do different things then I think you really ought to try: for your own peace of mind, not because I think there's anything wrong with the way you are now.

The way I try to look at it is: if you try something, and it's a failure, you'll only be back at the same place you were originally. But if it succeeds and you have fun, life could be a whole lot better.

I appreciate this isn't always easy advice to follow, though.

I know I have a whole life ahead of me, I'm just wanting your feedback as I do nothing in the supposedly happiest stage in life "Childhood" + "Being A Teen"...not.

If only I could. My depression is really getting to me though, as I'm a sufferer of it unfortunately. :(

It's good advice thanks.

But I'm not happy though, I'm a sufferer of depression. :( And By the way, I'm not bored, but I'm kinda frustrated that I do nothing. But come to think about it, I think it's better this way, instead of trying new things. :)

You´re not dull, you just have a dull life. Just like me. Most of what NT´s do for fun involves other people. However, for a lot of aspies other people can be dull. Talk about a vicious cycle ! !

What IcelandicGuy said. And others. To an NT, an Aspie's life may well seem dull and uninteresting. To an Aspie, an NT's life may well seem dull and uninteresting. Me, I go to work, I go home, I make supper, and I spend the evening either watching TV or playing on the computer, or both. On the weekends, I go grocery shopping Saturday morning, then spend the rest of the weekend watching movies on DVD. Except for doing laundry (the laundry room is next door down the hall in my apartment building), I often don't leave my apartment between Saturday early afternoon and Monday morning when I go to work.

If I wanted to do something different, I would. ;)

Thanks Xenon.

Like I say, I am grateful for feeback, and glad that I am not the only one.

Oh by the way Xenon, loving the avatar.

Don't feel the pressure of the old best days of your life thing, for most of my childhood and teens I've just taken a day at a time. I would love to have made more of my teens and early twenties, I was really depressed last year thinking I had wasted my whole life. I then just realised looking back was making me even more down. I think sometimes with depression its almost like being too aware, its like stark reality, and its harsh to experience this early in childhood like I did but at least when I have a mid life crisis I will be well prepared! Or won't get one!
I apologise for coming out with the old cliches like you have your whole life ahead, not that helpful, anyway.

That's ok

I've heard that all before from most NTs anyway.

Better this way and being frustrated, than to try new things? No offense, but it kind of sounds like you are picking between "bad" and "worse." Perhaps you might want to think about what would make you happier, and just live accordingly. If you're frustrated with something, then something is wrong, and you're probably better off either changing that something (or getting rid of it), or changing your attitude towards it. Otherwise you'll continue on without resolution, and your depression won't get better. :(
