Yeah it helps a whole lot and sometimes its good to love oneself its so hard though when in that state. Othertimes I just grab some booze get drunk and forget why I was hating myself and get over it quicker then once sober I realize the reason I was hating myself was stupid.

I checked out the site you mentioned. It is very comprehensive and has some helpful suggestions.

I've had a lot of problems with alcohol. It makes my self-destructive behaviour much worse; so I try to stay away from it. I find smoking a joint helps me more. It gives me a wider perspective and helps get me out of the vortex.

Wow,the meltdown pizza.
I've beat my head into floors, walls, hit myself with my fists, other objects, thrown items, trashed furniture, scream, bite myself,it felt like I was a gear that had been wound to the breaking point,or a piece of rubber stretched too tight,I am not safe to be around,a real chance for someone to get hit with a flying object. This frightened my kids alot, but when I reach a certain point of overload I can't stop the momentum.I have tremendous guilt over this,I love my kids and I'm so sorry I had meltdowns in front of them.
I realize now they must have been so scared for themselves and me,they felt helpless too.
I don't want to make anyone feel bad,if I start to feel any pressure build up I leave or try to change what is bothering me before it gets out of hand.
