Is there anyone near to him that could even offer a space in an out-building or garage?

I know it's a lot ask but I have been there myself and without someone letting me stay in their workshop I don't know what would of happened to me.

I've told auntblabby I'd contribute $ to getting him food and help, but we need an address or at least a post office to get help to him. Also, found and sent a link to a whole bunch of charities and shelters and legal (free) assistance websites and phone numbers which are all in ASS-P's general area (the bay area and peninsula and other places in Northern Ca). All I can do is hope for the best for this man, & that he doesn't give up. :(

so please dear god may you help to make his life happier? please can you heal his feet? please can you give him somewhere to live?

dear lord i am very happy at how my life turned out, but his life is as valuable as my own life and i do not understand why you have neglected him. why have you treated him in the way you have?

i know that you are are infinitely above me lord, but please give him a chance at happiness? please god? i do not know what to say to you but i implore you to give him a break. it is very much not fair to him.

so god, do you love me? if you do then then you will help ass-p and not consign him to a life of wretchedness.
i truly care for him and if you do not then.........................what can i say?

please god help him? please?

I just said a prayer for him. Oh, how I wish I had the money to help him. I would give him the shirt off my back if I were able to get to him, but am unable to. Lord, please lift Ass-P up and give him the essentials he needs, don't give up on him, please.

I really wish he was in my area, so I could help him with navigating The System. I did and will continue to pray for him, though.

Perhaps that's a potential solution, finding out if there is a WP member in the area. That person may not be able to feed and house ass_p for an extended period of time but to give him access to a phone and the internet and let him use their shower and wash his clothes would be a big morale booster. This shouldn't hapen to anyone. Resources should be there for him.

The closest I can come to praying is sending some "hope vibes" into the ether and hoping in turn they hit him, which I am doing right now. I've been homeless, and it's merde.

I've got f**k all but I can afford to send a coupla bucks if you can PM with details of how/where?

I obtained his snailmail addy that is nominally where he can get correspondence. since WP disallows direct posting of people's addresses, please PM me for this info.

Is it against site rules to have a whipround for him?

Someone could open a paypal account for international donations to be gifted and then make the funds available to ASS-P, otherwise I can post a little bit of cash too.

San Jose / South Bay area, about 450 miles north of where I live.

Any word on his condition?

as far as I can tell from somewhat disjointed letters and phone calls from him, that he is homeless, wanted on various vagrancy warrants [but the heat have not taken him in because vagrancy warrants unaccompanied by anything else are beneath their radar, so to speak], is having trouble getting social service agencies to help him [they told him to get the legal stuff straightened out first], and he is having troubles with money and a place to stay sheltered from the harsh elements. he is very sad, he was crying when he left a phone message with me. I didn't know what to do other than to ask people to pray for him. I fear for him.

You guys could always start up some kind of fundraiser for him if you're that worried. or, hey, anyone lives close to him, you could offer him a place to stay for a while...

I dunno, prayer is a nice thought but that's all it is - a nice thought.

back out of hospital, necrotic toe given merely palliative treatment. spoke on phone with him today, he seems to be using a cellphone that uses wifi, and that is the only way he can chat with anybody else, and it is hard for him to get to a place with wifi whose owners won't roust him or chase him away. his untreated toe is at real medical risk of spreading toxins throughout his body and spreading the internal contagion via the bloodstream/lymph system, IOW [it happened also to my late father] he could be at risk of amputation of not just the toe but also higher up on the foot and leg, as well. that is a real risk of diabetic neuropathy and lower limb circulatory problems.
