Yeah I'm cooking a pasta salid as I write this. So after I eat I will try to do some searching for info for you.

I notice in the center of it like a crater and a slash in it forming sorta like a letter "Q".

Oh my rib pain now has worked its was to my back. I feel most the pain in the back now and not in the front :(

There does seem to be an indentation/ bruised area at the center, branching out over the swollen area into a flecked red rash. I can't see it except by craning my neck to look in a mirror or via photograph, so I don't really now what it looks like very close up to the naked eye.

Try posting a better picture. Do it with better light. All I can see there are a bunch of little red spots, which looks like an allergic reaction or bug bites.

Seems to be a massive number of things it could be. I doubt its serious medical problem.

My favorite way to solve problems is match pictures on the net. But I'm not sure if the
word "lump" is correct. And to use the word bump always seems to default to bumps
which leads to a dead end.

The reason why I question lump is its not raise much compared to pictures of lumps i see.

Hey. I just came across this home remedy in the book, "Uncommon Cures for Everyday Ailments" -Bottom Line Health

It's ripe bannanas.

It says..."SKIN SORES:If a skin irritation is driving you crazy, go to the produce store and buy some extremely ripe bananas. The bananas' enzymes and high sugar content will kill bacteria, help draw out toxins and dry up any "weeping" or oozing associated with a sickly sore. Mash up the fruit or scrape the inside of the peel, then apply it directly onto the sore. Cover the area with gauze and surgical tape. Leave the treatment on overnight--uncovering and cleaning the area in the morning--and you'll see much improvement"

I hope this helps....

Looks like some kind of absess, ok do I spell???? Anyways could be caused by alot of things, even a mosquito ...again bad spelling. Could be a staph infection from that to. Let the Doc take a look at it. Sometimes all they have to do is lance it and it will feel so much better. Or they may just give you an antibiotic, thats what the doc did for my son when he had a staph infection. Good peace of mind just going to the doc.

whatever it is, if your not going to tell your mom or doc until the last minute do SOMETHING to draw out the toxin.

Hmmm....maybe strawberries...

Should I try lancing it myself? Could I just nick it to see what happens? The texture feels like a mosquito bite.

What I would do is heat a needle red hot and cool it in alcohol.
Wipe the area down with alcohol then poke some holes in it not very deep to see if
you can drain a fluid from it.

Acne perhaps. I pop my zits because they hurt otherwise. I don't know what else to do, I can't be rubbing anti-acne stuff on me because the coverage I would need is too much and I couln't reach everwhere and even if I could I don't have the privacy I need to do it.

It's definitely not acne, but I haven't tried lancing it yet. It's like a huge mosquito bite with red flecks.

I don't know, it isn't a bug bite. It could be an allergic reaction. You HAVE to see a doctor though, it could be skin cancer, especially because it isn't going away.
