I think we are seeing more and more people go out into the world without basic manners because of the breakdown of the family. Everyone comes from a home that was broken by divorce because the parents couldn't even treat each other civilly. In the chaos of going back and forth between two homes, where is the time and stability to learn to just relax, conduct yourself calmly, and be polite?


I very much agree. My husband and I are very committed to one other. We have 2 boys aged 21 and 13. Both are very well mannered.

...I was hit again , in a different way , the other day - I was kicked in the buttocks(sob) , by this fuckng drunk-high as*hole who seems to not only hang out in front of , but be a sort of an employee at , this local corner store(sob) ?
This is entirely different , in place & person , from what I was speaking of before .

He was drunk and high; I wouldn't take it personally.

One time, this drunk and high guy karate-kicked me right in front of the Union Turnpike subway.
