What's the longest you've gone without talking?

i had a long bout of depression in my undergrad... where i went like a month without talking to anyone... manily cause noone talked to me.

i can see myself appreciating long silences... but not under these circumstances... and i think having this experience has made a lot of my subsequent depressions more cinching for me.

I'm doing a lot less talking today than normal. It feels weird. But talking gets me into too much trouble. I'm going to see if I can taper off, so people around me get used to it.

I don't say many words each day because I ignore my sister and just give one word answers or nods to my mother.
I talk to things sometimes too, like a spider I just found on my wall and put outside. ^^;
And my bear I love him so much~~

If I am with my friends I will talk a lot though, probably too much.

A few days; regularly.
Longer if you don't count things like hi, please, thanks, how much?, etc. when out buying supplies.

Excluding when I'm asleep?

I can stay quiet for as us much as up to 4-7 hours.

6 weeks when i wasnt allowed to speak to anyone

I spent a week where I didn't speak to anyone but my mother (via phone), and then only because I had to check in with her.
I felt more alone than usual that week, but I was also the only one in the house (there's normally three other people) so that might have been why. Then again, I also got stuff done that week.

No more than 20 hours.

Probably a couple days

I don`t really like too "chitt-chatt" or small-talk, the most i`ve gone without talking is about two days, where i just grunted and moaned because i was really ill, my throat was also so ill that i wasn`t even able too speak.

But regulary i can go 6-7 hours without talking too anyone (except on the internett) if my parant`s don`t speak too me.

I like beeing alone and reflect and just think and dream, it kinda is relaxing too not speak too anyone, no stress, no arguments and so on..

i got mad at somone and said i refused to talk to anyone for 24 houers

I don't keep track, but most days I say less than 20 words. I didn't say anything at all today until about an hour ago when I said hello to a tree.

Around a full month.

I'd say a couple of days, but no one was around to talk to...although sometimes I will berate annoying characters on TV...

I could go for the option of speaking a whole lot less...sometimes it is exhausting to engage in a conversation for sure.

I can go without talking for days, however it rarely happens because people talk to me.

Damn them!
