If anybody wants to know what Autistic logical thinking and expression is all about all they need to do is read Fnords posts.

It was nice to converse with another 1957 baby. You grew a lot as a person just in the 3 years I have been around. I wish you continued success.

Nine7752, would 30,000 be symbolic too?

I don't think 30k is ham reference. It's not a radio model that I know. It's not like a secret frequency we can meet him - that would have been very clever. He could have done 29000 for that. But on the radio you have to give your call sign, which directly ties to your identity and address. So that would kind of blow this whole alias thing.

It's 2^4 * 5^4 * 3 which is kind of cool. But my guess it was the next round thousand of his posts.

I wish you well Mr Fnord.
Even if it became repetitive... thank you for the posts with advice when it was needed.

May the road rise up to meet you... ;)

People are wondering what radio and 73 mean.

Fnord is a ham radio operator (I am too). So, if you use ham radio, you might speak to him on the radio sometime. The lower frequencies can go all over the world with a relatively modest setup. But we don't know his call sign, so you'll never really know it was him... so it's a mystery.

And, 73 is a ham radio way to say "all the best" or the like. It sounds cool in morse code, but people say it out loud now too.

I stand(well....sit actually  ) corrected.
Ty :D

You always said exactly what you meant. You lived such an interesting life too, going from homeless vet to Electrical Engineer. I'm gonna miss seeing your posts.

Even though I didn't always agree with you, I've enjoyed reading your posts. I will miss you greatly.

I’ll miss him more for what I didn’t enjoy, because that’s what taught me the most.

Hmm, a few went along with the ride, whereas a veteran got off early it seems..

It's a shame that we ran up a lot of sky high preferences, mainly for our true ordeals but striking the iron before it strikes back was always gonna be the main motto.
Anyway, congrats on making the big one and if this turns out to be your final epiphany, may this be the end of one long duration. Finally, there is a tendency to separate our differences, before a last truce is made, but false hope costs lives and besides, it wouldn't look that appealing.. A truce is there if you should return., refreshed and renewed from your travels.
Empathy

Let us do unto others as they do unto us, and let truth and justice prevail, or forever hold your peace.

Jesus forgives those who trespass against us, and others were born to carry a beacon.

P.S either people are afraid to leave comments in the light of Fnord's demise, or are upset and don't know how to word it.
Tip, no one is going to answer back so its the last time to offer your thoughts and condolences.

^^Well, I'll always remember that last row in the tapestry was laden with many stitches left undone and button holes left to be sewed on.
Even the good lord remembers us in all our refined glory..
Noah led his animal sufferers to safety, before and after they left the ark. For those who are visually impaired in some way, the boat has not yet capsized. It's safe to say, we've lost one Jehovah, but we won't be getting another one, not any time soon.. he's just shouting from a shallow grave now.
Unfortunately, one seed of doubt has been sown, that the last heir to W.P has stepped down.
As God as my witness others won't take their final resting place here and under house scrutiny. Some people show pride and others, well, holy ignorance. Well done to the long sufferers of this site for keeping vigil on this prolonged occasion.

he was one that, despite himself, now and then carried a beacon of hope for the rest of us.

Your advice wasn't actually logical, or always rational, and a lot of the time it was just plain patronizing and bullying.

I don't think you're like Jesus or anything near what people are making you out to be. It isn't like you're dead either, I don't know why people are making you out to be the Holy One, you're nothing special and neither is anyone else here.

I don't think you're the wise example that people should follow. I don't think questioning peoples' self-diagnosis when they're going through a crap time is the way to treat people. I don't think following people around and winding them up, and getting away with it by taking advantage of the rules system is the right way to treat people either.

Peoples' responses here have pissed me off a bit, after all the people Fnord has been horrible to, you all make out he's great and wonderful.

And FYI, Logical and rational <> Aspergers. It is in no way *near* related to AS.

As far as I'm concerned you were like a prison guard frantically trying to hold his position by hiding behind rules while putting down other people and generally being a dick.
