I insulted his sister and I regret it. And now he won't respond to my messages.

Did you try apologizing?

Yeah. I'm close to crying right now but my sister is in the room so I can't. I feel awful about it.

You could try calling him or something.
When will you next see him?

I think issues like this would bring me to tears as well. For instance, during band camp in my junior year, I suddenly lashed out against someone who tried to help me. She was furious and during a hike, I tried to apologize, but I don't think she really accepted it. I felt so guilty that I was brought to tears.

I think it is best to let him cool off. You're not alone. I usually feel guilty about some of the things that I posted on this site, especially when talking to either Soph or Cade. So there, there. It will be ok. I mean, will he listen to you at all?

Sopho- I'm too scared to call him.

Yoshie77- I hope he will cool off. He won't make any response at all.

Actually, I like Soph's idea. I think it's better to call him. Try to have the guts. He may still be mad, but sometimes one needs to endure the harsh words in order to really repent for one's mistakes. Just make sure you really show him how you feel. Now I know that phones are scary, but it is better to try. If he won't respond with the Internet, then either by phone or in person is the best place to go. And remember that we are all here to support you.

Just relax and take it easy. If you're not ready, then you're not ready. But don't let the guilt go through your head. Sometimes I let guilt do that to me all day. In fact sometimes, I even felt suicidal.

I hate talking on the phone.
I think you should just wait a bit till you feel better, think about what you're going to say, and then call him and explain properly. He'll know then that you regret it and that you're sorry.

Don't worry about it. I love it when we get a chance to help and support others with AS. You know, it was really moving reading the suicide forum by aspie17. It reinforced the fact that no matter how bad we feel or how bad AS gets, it isn't worth killing ourselves over. If you want to quickly learn about my life with AS, feel free to read my latest blog, even though it is only a summary.
