The other day I just can't get it out of my head there was a gross old lady like gross clothes and not showered who smelled like freaking ranch dressing, like they washed their hair with it or something...and that was bad enough untill they sat in front of me only to start vibrating in such a manner I was worried they were about to pop and release a bunch of gross biohazard material or something. And thinking the whole way there don't you pop a bunch of gross biohazard stuff on me going to work. The worst part was their bun of ranch dressing smelling hair bobbing up and down like almost right in front of my face.

Do you have a sensitive sense of smell? Sometimes I have been near people and almost gagged from the odour while others around are acting like there isn't an overpowering smell or they are hiding it very well?

Once a woman sat in front of me. She turned her head and I couldn't help noticing her middle ear, which had probably never been cleaned. It was full of ear wax, I doubt she could hear!

I almost gagged then and there.

I have literally no sense of smell with only a few exceptions, and they are for one or two smells I really love and... hydraulics fluid/grease...something I can smell kms away and for some reason I just can't stand (especially old lifts which have the old fluid caking up/building up in their gear boxes and a fan set up in such a way that it fans the smell into the lift carriage. YUCK). I suppose for this reason I absolutely love taking the bus or train, but there are none around where I live now so I can only go on them when I go to cities for holidays or work. Sad. I always feel so normal on the bus/train due to the amount of weird and interesting people also on there. Take a book, relax, enjoy, plus no road rage to deal with.
