I wanted to add that I looked up the Geneva convention and his dad is violating a lot of things in there. For example his dad speaks Ill about gay men and supports Trump. I sold a few computer related items to buy him a bus ticket. I cant let some one I love live in such deplorable conditions. When he gets here I'll help him find a job and teach him to drive. Then we will look at options for suing his father in federal court as well as criminal charges in the world court. He will probably go to international prison. He has violated also several laws of Finland. I suspect they will try him there as well.

As for his father’s crimes.. the probability of them being tried by any court is near Zero. IMO, the best thing to do about Marcus’ father is to forget about him completely once Marcus is safe and doing his own thing. It’ll save you both a whole lot of time and energy. The UN is far too busy trying war criminals to involve themselves in a domestic dispute.

Please don’t take this wrong.

The Geneva court probably has more pressing international matters to attend to.

If Marcus can, somehow, get the international tribunal to listen to him, I’d be very glad.

Goldfish is speaking the truth here, though.

I know you want to help Marcus. But I would take Goldfish’s advice if I were you.
