I haven't received any of that money from the NYS lawyer in over a month now, before I left Patterson I asked him to send a relatively small amount (for it) to the homeless mailbox place in SC I get my mail at, but when I went there last Friday - a week or so after I got back - it was not there
.For one special (though not the largest) factor, the owner of that Patterson place bled me dry for extra cash over and above the SSDI money he was already receiving (And I even suspect him of stealing a document from me
!. The lawyer was now saying " he wanted to hear from the hospital social worker " who initially suggested the Patterson place, IIRC, and seems to be trying to push me into another such place - I don't lnow if she did something to have him not send me money, and if she lied to him ~ Perhaps not. The NYS lawyer was giving me " I want to hear from (her) " yesterday, and now, and E-mail from her says he's out of town for two weeks, and can't send me money till then ~ She says that. I NEED MONEY ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !Why? I mean this in a serious way. Is there some comic that you have a burning desire to buy?
You have no rent or utilities, and the homeless have access to free food from churches and etc. You have obviously already replaced the cell or you wouldn't be here talking about it.

I did have enough do$h in my card to go to the on SC area mall (in Capitola) 's AT&T store and again buy a " Model T " cheap but efiicient smartphone, which I am maiden-voyaving on now.
Yesterday,. I was on the library's laptops. There aren't daily line-up feeds in SC as there (presumably still) are in San Francisco, there is at this time, IIRC, no standard walk-in shelter for males in SC at this time that is, admittedly, the reason the social worker shipped me off to one in another county when I did not wish to go into another bach home (Apparently liscenced, unlike the Patterson one,) and did not have/wish to spend motel duckie$. There will, apparently, be one again starting in mid-November but less than there was last " Winter Season ", apparently .
My handicapped-ness makes getting around slow. I am not married to staying in Santa Cruz, but, any other factors aside...I'd want something with decent public transport and some amount of nice, walkable, areas

...At this time,I don g feel like a sweetie Spock's comments, which I think k I have tended, anyway, to answer...
Especially since a MAJOR bad 
development has happened at this end - the seemingly trustworthy hospital social worker went over my head to the NYS lawyer and told him not to send me money from my funds because I was about to move to San Jose - and because per her, I wanted her to be my SSDI payee (100% a lie!)

...She apparently did not say she wanted to be my SSDI payee, mistaken there ..but she DID tell the NYS lawyer not to send me money! I have not received money from him in over a month! This is hardly spendthrift-ism ...and I have not received my SSDI money for a long time, basically, endlessly rushing back and forth to /fro Patterson the hospital has not let me have enough good stability to do it! The story of my life, authority figures endlessly pulling out the rug from underneath me and saying " No, go HERE! No, go THERE! "!... Not allowed to have good stability
I now am outside, only have a toi-heavy fabric blanket for sleep . I'm not wed to staying in Santa Cruz, but where would I go ? How?????
In pain from the lack of the edibles, and a not-ad jtted ER visit to-day didn't get me a new prescription. Maybe I'll sleep tonight where the backpack got stolen before. I do have the NYS money+ though that lawyer's away now - that could help me in setting up a place
