I think being dead is better than living.

And that is where you fail. You neither perceive nor validate anyone's perspective but your own, which is full of misery and morbid thoughts.

Lighten up. There is more to life than wishing you were dead.

But how do you survive homelessnes and especially enjoy being homeless?

Homelessness does not equate to hopelessness.

I've been homeless too and was in a shelter for approximately 2 years at a time of my life when I was suffering from PTSD and before I was diagnosed with Aspergers.

I survived. Because you never know what good things may appear around the next corner. Since my diagnosis explained so much as to why I always seemed to be on the perimeter and never fitting into any specific group, I am glad to have endured tough times because now I know more answers than before. I have dreams and plans for the future.

The cliched saying that tough times don't last but tough people do, is true.

How can you get a decent job with autism and ptsd?

I worked for many years at a government office when younger. I also worked for a private company for several years after my PTSD and AS diagnosis. I'm now working part time and also focusing on my writing skills.

Virtually everyone has something they're good at.

It is possible to be happy with a basic job, I was at my happiest whilst being unemployed.

This may sound silly but what if you kill yourself only to be reincarnated. I had memories from a past life and I even met someone I knew in this life, from that past life. They confirmed they knew me from the past life. If that isnt proof of reincarnation I dont know what is.

Homeless people die early, if they stay homeless.

Look even if i wanted a job, i would never get a job, atleast not a decent one. Why? Because autism, autism ruins lives.

Here's what I see happening in this thread. Fos11 is asserting there is no hope in life and one would prefer death. Then numerous members challenge this belief, using examples from their own and others' lives.

Fos, I hope you are taking courage from this exercise. Delay your death wish for a few years while you reconsider what the world has to offer and what really matters.

I was very depressed in my high school years, but threw myself into my studies and did well there. It was good for me to have one area of life where I could see a positive outcome, because that leads to self-efficacy - the belief one can achieve positive results. It seems to be lacking in you. Find something you can do - even something as small as making handmade jewelry or doing a good job delivering newspapers - and build from there. And learn to say "Stop!" when your mind goes into a downward spiral of negativity.

Delivering newspaper is not really a job.

Yes, it is.

Every sentence you write seems to contain a negative. It's a perceptual bias. Learn to notice that.

I don't know of any country where just selling newspapers without the supplementary benefits is sufficient to provide one with a living, but provided that you don't live in a totally backward country, benefits should to some extent be available.

Yes but if you can deliver newspaper they probably think you're completely able to get another job with enough pay, so no benefits. Atleast nk disability benefits.
