Its pronounced "dew-sh". No E sound at the end as with "touche'". Though it probably DID in the original French.

Google the word to find out its original meaning (kinda gross- we dont care to explain it here).

magna AND IL strike me as people who may have just had an overdose of WP and needed to take a break...regardless of hat the climate may be like


they did both, spend a lot of time here it seems. i'd go nuts if i posted as much as they did....

it's french for "shower"

"prendre une douche" = "(to) take a shower"

“Good” in general, overall. I don’t know what made Magna leave, so I can’t say whether “good” or “bad” had anything to do with it.

I have encountered quite a few people here who are kind and understanding - I would call those “good” qualities. But I suppose one can’t necessarily say that a person (or group of people) is really “good” or “bad,” and I do recognize that those terms are highly subjective. I fully admit that my word choice is often not the best.

No, it’s not going to make Legion disappear or decide to play nice or anything, but taking a break from WP might help my stress levels a bit, and sometimes I’m just so drained of energy and thinking ability that I just can’t manage a visit to WP. I plan to check in every once in a while, so I guess I wouldn’t actually really be leaving, so I can let people know I’m doing all right and return to reading and posting as much as ever once it feels like more of a “safe place” again.

“Legion” is the mass of swollen lymph nodes and stuff in my neck and chest region. It’s probably due to lymphoma, but as far as cancer goes, that’s one of the least scary and more easily treatable ones. My mom suggested I name it, and it’s essentially one big mass made up of a bunch of smaller things, so I went with Legion.

I think it was last year I posted several times that if trolling on WP wasn't mitigated we would loose members.Now we have lost two long time members in a week,or that is,that who we know of,we may have have lost lesser known members also.
