I checked CNN; the AstraZeneca vaccine production seems to be stopped.
Two areas announced they are no longer using it.
I don’t really understand what is going on, but, like the title of this thread, I, too, am afraid of the vaccine(s).

I won't use Johnson&Johnson products.

The vaccines all seem sketchy to me.

They're doing it out of an abundance of caution. 37 out of 15 million people have suffered blood clots as a result of the Astra/Oxford/Zeneca Vaccine. The UK hasn't stopped it, yet.

What happened to Hank Aaron?

He died of old age, not the vaccine.

He was the same age as my father.

Two weeks after being perfectly healthy?

Sorry to keep nattering. I have a clinically diagnosed stress disorder and a child with incurable auto-immune disease. It would be more of a concern if I wasn't cautious.

I worry about all matters health-related. I don't make any medical decisions easily, and I don't follow the masses or media when I do make a choice.

I'm concerned when they say these vaccines alter DNA. That's an issue of major significance to humankind.

My daughter had the Astrazeneca vaccine over a week ago(she has one of the rarer autoimmune disorders, Myasthenia Gravis) and is on the spectrum. She had a sore arm on Day 2 and that disappeared after 24hrs. I too was concerned when I read about what’s happened to some, but further reading made me feel alot more at ease.

He wasn’t perfectly healthy. He had some chronic conditions.

It has been proven that he didn’t die of the vaccine.

Thanks, Jules. I know about MG and I was tested for it a few years ago (Awful test, that EMG!)

I'm not so much worried about immediate side effects, but the longer term genetic and cellular effects in our bodies - effects that we won't even be aware of, possibly for generations.

Yes I'm likely overreacting. It doesn't mean I won't get the vaccine, but I'm certainly glad I have months to decide.

Don't forget I live with a Master's of Epidemiology and Public Health student who is doing a thesis on Covid.
She's been accepted to a PhD program.

I hear all the professional lingo, and I'm still wading through her research.

I know I’m a layman. I obviously don’t have those qualifications. I know it doesn’t alter your DNA.

OK, I'm going to refuse to have the vaccine if it can cause blood clots. Now I'm worrying about my loved ones who have had the vaccine.

It's a form of gene therapy. In that regard, it does change our bodies on a genetic level.

I don't trust the media so I'm waiting until I've done enough of my own research, which will be slow because admittedly I don't understand science very much myself.

I'm reading and learning slowly, which is fine because I have time to do so.

This is an excellent thread; this is a prime example of why WrongPlanet exists.
I appreciate being able to communicate and learn about very important things that we all may not be being told the complete truth about.
I appreciate knowing the viewpoints of people who I respect and who know what’s really going on.
