U should reconsider if its not 2 late, having a high school diploma is sooo important for your future, u feel u dont have a life now, i know ppl without this diploma, and lets just say not only do they not have a life because they will never leave the local mcdonnalds, but will probably never have a chance to achieve anything in life, support a family, have nice things ect...

I wish u luck on whatevr u decide... please keep us posted.

well I had a long talk with my dad-and a bit with my brother
although my dad thought them being the reson I was afraid was bull
he did understand my want to be on my own
he suggested making a basement apt when we get a house (that we own) make a door-give me fridge, stove, etc
I just gotta chip in a couple of bucks here and there
(if I have a full time job)
It seems like a good idea to me-and if I bring any friends over-I can say I am merely renting from the owners  (that was my dads idea)
so I think I sorta solved the problem-at least a lot of it anyways
if I am in the basement I can come and go as I please :P I'll have my own space...but still be there if I need help
seems good for now...
(and my brother and I are thinkin of starting a Tyrannosaurus Rex-like band, which is pretty cool) :D so I am gonna take guitar lessons and look into support groups for the fall instead of running off to some sh***y apt...
My dad said "aim high, so if you get medium-you can still be happy. Aim low and thats all you'll ever get"
(I claim it as my own now )

What kind of guitar are you going to get?

Also, I think it would be better if you went back to school and got that diploma. The online thing is usually iffy and uncertain. Not having a diploma is like shooting your future in the crotch with a .357. It probably won't kill you, but god dammit will it ever hurt.

Yeah, but what kind? Brand name, year, model, pickups, bridge, wood type, tell me everything you know about 'em. I love reading about guitar specifications :P.

The electric sounds like a starter set strat package. Those guitars usually sounds ok but are made of inferior wood and electronics and may break down after a few years. The amp probably isn't that great unless it's the Behringer strat pack (sold at the mall usually) which is decent. The acoustic could be virtually anything but cheapo acoustics are usually pretty crappy no matter what the brand is. If you get better and decide to upgrade your equipment in the future, just drop me a PM or something and I can recommend some great affordable guitars/amps for you.
