That's interesting.
I have never dealt with Karaoke.
I know what it is, but I don't go to bars and do not know anyone who has one at home... well, actually I did drop by a friend's house this evening and they have a small one for their daughter that hooks up to the t.v.
Oh, I don't bother with that. There's a website called Singsnap where you can record yourself singing.

Are you planning on teaching yourself to play the guitar or take some lessons?
I have played since High School which I graduated from in '78, but I still don't play really good.
Since I've had my electric guitar, I've been using books, dvd's and internet to learn some stuff on it, but I am planning on taking lessons locally soon.
The guitar came with an instructional DVD... but I don't know if I have the patience to learn like that. I think I would need hands-on experience.

Anyway, hope things improve for you... it'd be cool to hear you play songs on your own guitar!
Thanks.

Do you have music software like GarageBand or Audacity?
I like, and use, them a lot with any music I record or manipulate.
I use Audacity to record (and sometimes edit) my karaoke songs.
I used to do things with ACID, but I lost all my loops and I don't remember where I found half of them.
Anyway, a small update.
We found a neuropsychologist who sees kids and young adults. One of her specialties is in ASD's so she may be able to give me a diagnosis.
