Yeah... its taken a bit of a turn for the worse... she's refusing to come and see me, and she doesn't know what she wants for us... she still has feelings for me but she feels that I'm never going to change and she doesn't want to marry a ten year old

Well I've kinda pushed my family away... they held me down for many years before realising I was 20 and had no marketable work skills... and then started nagging me to get a job. I've resented this for a long time and when my father tried to cram the story of his marriage breakup down her throat... that was the final straw.

I haven't heard from her family yet.

Knowing you, I'm a bit surprised.

All people should care about their families because after all, they should love each other!

Yeah... that's what should happen, but even though they do, they just sweep the things they did wrong under the rug and pretend they never happened. It's only now that I've moved out and living independently that problems have arisen.

It comes and goes... usually when something happy happens. Now I'm happy cos there's a real possibility that my girlfriend and I will work out. I'm going to talk to her brother-in-law about how I can act like an adult in the relationship.
