Only thing that bugs me is Wal*Mart at Christmas time. Other than that, I LOVE shopping. My bro has to pull me away from shops as I wander down the aisles. So many things. Sunday for me is "swapmeet day." I don't really "shop," more of a "window shopper."

I hate shopping, I favour one place as the layout doesn't change. The local co-op had a re-fit and the layout was beyond something I never seen before, I couldn't find anything. But first I had to walk past the produce section which I hate because I don't like the cold in an unnatural way. Drives me crazy.

Self service tills are crap, you have to scan everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. A person can scan once and have it multiplied by whatever. Always with audible prompts, I can get away with just start scanning and enter money when finished. They may be touch screen but it doesn't mean you HAVE to touch to start or finish ;) :D

I don't mind the self check out things. What I like about them is, I get to scan my own items and put them in the bag and I don't have to worry about the cashier seeing what I am getting.
I have had a few problems with them but always asked for help and they were very helpful.

I really don't like shopping at the weekends. It's positively hellish.

I tend to shop at night and midweek.

Once I forgot what day it was and accidentally went to a supermarket back in the UK at Saturday lunchtime. Luckily, at the end of the first aisle, they had one of those product taster stalls, it was wine, white, red, rose, I knocked back a little cup of each, which helped me make it to the checkout! I couldn't have survived otherwise!

I tend to avoid the shopping malls back home from mid-October through till Christmas as well. Hell.
