All but one female Aspies who like the Simpsons and South Park are already in relationships. And the one who is single doesn't want to be with anybody right now.

And there is no way I could convince somebody who doesn't like those shows to watch them.

A lot of happy couples I know have different interests. You don't want to miss meeting someone who's perfect for you just because you're focussing a few specific details. You don't want to marry yourself after all, do you?

The thing is that I am convinced that people who like the Simpsons and South Park are liberal, and those who don't are conservative.

You should rethink this. I don't watch either of those shows and I'm a liberal born and raised San Franciscan. I know I'm not the only one.

I guess you could call my mother & brother conservatives, and they both liked the Simpsons. They were both raised in the Church of Christ, and you don't get much more conservative than that lot! Also, they're both abusive people, and my mother is very deceptive and manipulative. You can't judge someone by which televison programs they like.

I don't like to watch TV, so I guess I don't have a value system.

I do like South Park though, but I'm not too crazy about The Simpsons. I guess that makes me middle of the road.

And people who watch football are conservative, but people who watch soccer are liberal.

If somebody wants to end a friendship with me, they need to tell me in writing, rather than leave me hanging.

I can't tell what an Aspie looks like just by looking at them. So I wouldn't know what to look for, so I rely entirely on online forums to look for other Aspies.

Amen to that.

Unfortunately, many adult Aspies don't even know they are Aspies, so they won't be on the forums. I still think you should give NTs another chance; not every NT girl is going to be like the one that cheated on you.

Tim, you are stuck in a loop.

You do not know every female Aspie on the planet. Blanket statements such as those above are simply not true.

For example, I am a female Aspie, and I do not consider myself to be either conservative or liberal.

Tim, please do not hurt yourself. Nothing is worth that. Please, please, please, don't hurt yourself.

Don't know about you, but I live in a world where people don't always do what I think they should do, or what I think they need to do.

As the jews say, aspie schmaspie. Look for indications that somebody's honest and sincere and has a good heart. Everything else is a distant second.

Tim threatening to hurt yourself accomplishes nothing, it just makes you look bad, don't you know that people here like you and respect you. I use to hurt myself to get attention, it didn't work, my ex wife actually handed me an aluminum frying pan to hit myself with, I am glad it wasn't the cast iron one, since the aluminum one was hard enough. That was the way my Ex told me she had enough of my belly aching and cry's for attention, it didn't work for her and its not going to work for you or anyone. You are defiantly caught in a loop, with your perfect women illusion, you need to break away from these thoughts, and get away from that bloody computer, and f*****g chill out, get a beer, get a 6 pack, and go sit outside. Sorry for swearing but its what I tell myself if I am on here to much.

The only way I can meet other Aspies is online. They're not going to have the word "Aspie" written on their foreheads.

And in a support group, even if there are female Aspies, there's no way to tell if they're single or not. I can maybe tell if they're liberal if they have body piercing, a tattoo, or they're wearing a T-shirt that features some heavy metal or punk rock band on it (but I'm not even into those kinds of music). Other than that, I have no way of knowing.

It's like being liberal means doing the opposite of what the Bible says, when that doesn't necessarily have to be the case.
