Demons ... PFEH! :P
If you are a Christian, and believe in such things, then remember your Gospel:
Mark 16:15-17 wrote:
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues...
And...
James 4:7 wrote:
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Just seek out Christian leaders, tell them of your problems, submit yourself to God before them, let them do what it takes to cast out your demons, and you will be free.
No demon can possess a
real Christian without his or her cooperation ... right?
If you believe in such things...
James had a point. He also had some other great quotes, such as where he says that if someone is a hearer and not a doer it is as if they looked at their face in the mirror, walked away, and straight away forgot what they looked like.
You are right about post-Crucifixion/Resurrection diabolical power being limited by a need for humans, especially Christians to voluntarily invite the demons.
Hey, I do submit to the Lord and resist the Devil
some of the time; it is just that Lilith in particular and to a lesser extent Curunir are adept at exploiting those aspects of me that WANT to give in - this of course does not excuse my repeated betrayals of my Lord, but He is merciful and will forgive if I truly repent.
