Can we at least be even handed though? How was Fnord’s comment not also a personal attack in your mind? It served no purpose other than to deliberately patronize and goad another member.

i also thought Fnord's comment was very rude and shouldn't be tolerated in The Haven.

there are so many things i want to say, and none of it is easy. for what it's worth, i'm extremely anti-circumcision for both males and females. in my opinion the worst thing about male circumcision is that most males are not in touch with their anger the way you are.

2 things. i think you should shout your anger from the roof-tops. don't ever be ashamed of it. so many boys and men need to get in touch with the anger they feel as a result of being circumcised. the other thing is, please spend several hours googling female genital mutilation and i think you will cry. male circumcision is inexcusably horrible. but please educate yourself thoroughly in exactly what is involved in female genital mutilation and i think you will be horrified at an even deeper level.

for many years i didn't believe in good and evil. but forced circumcision of both males and females is undisguised, unforgiveable evil. there is no other way to see it.

my heart breaks for your agony.

is there any way you can become an activist against both male and female circumcision? or at least write about it?
