Im in so much emotional physical and existential pain and no one is can do anything. EVeryone tells me just change your thoughts and it will go away. Like i can just will this problem away. I am getting a sneaky fealing im going to be like this for a while wich is only causing me to get more down. Im being told that all i have to do is reach withing and i can make it go away and im am completely exhausted. My doctor cant help therapy is a waste of time so i am sitting here doing nothing without there seeming to be anything i can do to help myself with everyone telling that everything is just over the next horizon and i can break out of it any time i want. bs

Well, they're right.
The problem iiiis you won't know how to do it until you've done it.

Catch-22.
Just broke mine last year, it's a relief.
Haven't read the thread so I don't know where you are right now but there's a few things to remember:

1. Do what you love, as long as you do Something you're on the right track.
2. Studies show that if you make a test-person smile for an hour she'll be happier afterwards than someone who's told to frown for that hour. So, smile and do things that make you smile, even if it doesn't.
3. Medication is over- and underrated, if you need help handling your daily life, consider meds.

So, what does your case manager suggest as the next step for you, Nightbender, if none of those neurologists is an option? You need to have a plan so that you don't just give up on yourself.

And have you been doing anything lately that you enjoy? If so, tell me about it. If not, you need to organize something. It's good to give yourself things to look forward to so that your life isn't all doom and gloom. Jenny

Hello Nightbender. One thing you said in your interests caught my attention---fantasizing and contemplating about the universe. I am interested to know what it is about the universe that you fantasize and contemplate about. Could you tell me?

I will tell you my interests in the universe:

Black Holes and time travel

Comets

The search for ET life

The idea of the universe being infinite---How can something exist that has no beginning or no end? This can apply to the size of the universe and the time frame/age of the universe.

Those are fascinating topics Nightbender. Have you developed some of your own theories about them? Also, do you have ideas about them that you hope to be true?
