Feeling somewhat sh***y but I'm still not doing too bad.

@ anna: I'm sorry to hear about your dog . I had a dream that my puppy got ran over and that was horrible enough for me, I don't know what I would do if it ended up happening in reality.

he has been committed. he told my friend (his sister) that she can sell / give away all of his stuff as he is going to be hospitalised indefinitely or he will be dead anyways so it doesn't matter. he is walking away from his life and leaving her to pick up the pieces. she is quite upset but me and her other friends are going after work to lend a hand to help her sort it all out.

I feel pretty good right now. I'm living at my friends house, and life is better than it was. The future looks much better, and being in a place with a tennis court and a swimming pool and great food (the matriarch is a chef, not by trade, but she has no recipes, she just makes things up as she goes) is always nice, as well as not having to put up with a whole bunch of crap because I decided to read a book with the light on I can actually have a conversation without it being about circular logic and fear mongering, and I'm no longer the gatekeeper of everyone's fears. Sure, the abominable oldest brother is here (always telling me that it's his turf, and that I should go home) but other than that it's pretty good. I've learned to ignore his constant "talks" about how I should get a job (I have one, and he doesn't, yet he still tells me to not be lazy, despite the fact that he is 300 pounds and does nothing to contribute) and other stupid things about his mom that relate to his Oedipus complex, but everything has it's drawbacks. I'm glad to be in a place where I feel like I'm cared for. I'm not charged any rent or anything (which is awesome) and I'm not expected to do anything, so naturally I do everything I can to help around the house as much as I can.
