I'm sick of life. I'm sick of it sick of it sick of it sick of it sick of it sick of it sick of it sick of it sick of it.

I would like to take an eraser and erase the scene bit by bit until it's clean and I can start again and it can be anything. I could just draw in anything at all. But if I don't like it I can erase that and go back to the beautiful blank canvas.

So, -10 but a solid 0+ imagining this. This is a very soothing very likable possibility. Even though it's not actually a possibility. I'll say it is, who's to say it's not. Everything's a possibility, just some things aren't realized.

I do not fit in anywhere in this world anymore. I am questioning whether I actually am a human or not.

You'll always fit in at WP.
I'm pretty sure you are human, then again, all I've seen of you is on the internet so you could be some kind of computer program. Hmmm, a rather interesting one at that.

^ I do not feel like I fit in here - I do not fit in with either this AS crowd, or the general NT crowd. I do not function like any other human does, AS or NT.

Ten, it seems to me that WP is mainly populated by people who feel they don't fit in. So, in my eyes at least, you fit in just fine. In fact I would say that you fit in very well. But this is just from my limited observations.

^ But wasn't WP intended to be both a resource and a community? To be part of a community, one must be able to fit in. I do not feel that way.

Yes! Why not? I anyone was to not fit in, it'd be me. I am stranger than thou!

^ Well, I'm not going to get into an argument of who is stranger, as it would be destructive for both parties.

Edit: In any case, I've almost given up on people.

Sure. Because you'd know I'd win right  But seriously, if you don't feel like you fit in, look around the forums...there are many people going through a variety of problems. There has to be something?

Ok, yes, it is a community. But it is a community of Aspies. So it will not look like other communities. Don't judge it by what the rest of the world calls a community.

We are all a bit awkward, and prone to saying the wrong thing. We might not express how we feel very well. We are likely to all feel a bit isolated on here, or separated from others. This is partly because the internet has its limitations, and partly because we are Aspies.

You are still very young (even if you don't feel it), so that might contribute to your feeling of not fitting in, as your experiences are naturally at a different stage to those in their 20s, 30s, 40s and so on, so you might not feel able to relate to those people so much. This is not a bad thing, it is just natural, and inevitable.

But from what I have seen of your interactions with others, you do very much fit in. I have seen that you talk with quite a few people in Random Discussion, who appear to like you and value you. I certainly like you, and think that you offer a lot to WP. You are very welcoming to others.

How would things need to change for you to feel like you fit in here?

you're right. you do function differently, absolutely.

and so do i. and so does chrissyrun. we are all freaks or weirdos or nutbars on here in some way or another. when i was your age i felt like i could not fit in anywhere as i felt i was actually an ancient person trapped in a teenager's body. everyone has reasons they are distinct from others, but there are just some people who do a better job of masking their differences to "fit in". NTs *usually* have an easier time of this - they can play pretend much better and connect much more easily than we do.

but trust me, you can possibly connect with us to a certain degree on here BECAUSE of your own oddities, not in spite of them.

I do not dispute this.

Yes, I'm not sure if what I'm saying on this thread is coming out how I want it to, but I hope the sense of isolation and detatchment - despite interacting with others both online and in real life - is coming across, as it is how I feel.

See above, but yes, I like to think I'm friendly. I just really spoil things sometimes when I'm having a bad day, as I become very much self-deprecating and perhaps even disrespectful to others.

I'm not sure. It isn't the fault of anyone here, but I do not feel like there is anyone who is like me out there. Now you may come back with the everyone is unique argument, but I'm just so so so far from the norm, from anyone else, or so I feel.

Yes, I feel like this. I even go far as to say I detest most people my age, as to me they are more than alien beings, and pretty much all of them are shallow.
