Meh, the first guy who ever really said he had a crush on me disappeared from facebook. Not that I like him anymore...but it's just ret*d when you go through your statuses and realize they've been un-liked. ret*d...people shouldn't be able to un-like after a certain amount of time. :x

Chrissyrun I listened to it, although I never heard it before I could listen to it again. Music sometimes helps me with various moods too. Mostly if I get really angry I'll listen to "angry music" which helps me to pace around and use up some of the energy.....

Haha, nice. I actually got the suggestion for this song from someone else. :P Yea....it's really helping, I'm at a 1.7 now. I don't pace to angry music though...mostly because I'm saving up for a (hopefully) 9-mile jog tonight. Thanks for responding and such.

Enjoy your run. I used to do 10 milers for the Army now I walk. I blew out a knee and it's never going to be the same even post surgery.

Thanks, but I'm getting in the habit of calling it a jog, haha. Wow, nice, usually people say that the distances I go are crazy, but I've done a marathon so 9 is barely the definition of a long run. Lame, I've heard of that happening a lot....was it the shoes? or what? *Hypochondriac about running*

Don't laugh, unles you need to.

I was very out of condition, gained a lot of weight and all that. Started getting back into it and I was running on an indoor track that's kinda small, I think 16 laps to the mile, 12, something like that. So tight turns. Well I am a big guy, 6' about 250 at the time I think. I was sprinting all out and one one of the turns I felt this snap in my kneee and instantly knew something was really wrong. By the time I stopped running the last few steps it was swollen, bruised and looked weird.

Oh, not laughing. Running injuries are serious things.

For one thing, I HATE tracks. They are good for short workouts to up your sprinting abilities, but not for anything longer than 2 miles. *shudders* That sounds awful. I've been pretty dang lucky. Been in cross-country/track for 4 years and a marathon, and the longest I was out was a 8 days (used to be a week, but I got pretty sick over break). Anyways, that's horrifying. Will you ever be able to run again?

Yeah I run a bit now, about a mile at absolute max. If I want to be able to walk the next day then only a quarter mile or so and only every other week. Big change. I agree on the track thing, I always liked cross country better.
