I'm sure Grisha didn't mean it that way. I think he was just trying to tell you to not let it get to you. To file away what trolls and the like say as pointless inane blather and give it as little thought or worry as possible.

wait from negative ten to positive ten?

by that scale I'd say -6

Today is my birthday and I live in a rural town so I can't go anywhere without wasting 20 bucks of gas. My parents had a buisness trip to go to which I don't mind really, they need their job and I'm cool with it. I'm not cool though when I get told that a 200 dollar filing cabinet is too expensive for organizing my college and medical school application papers and then they go around and buy my older brother 100 dollars of junk food when he just dropped out of college and refuses to get a job. He has plenty of ramen noodles to last himself a while, don't know why he needs donuts that will be eaten in a day.

if it wasn't for my girlfriend actually caring about me I probably would have had a really bad day.

+6
Though the scale keeps changing. 5-6 years ago this would've been a +10. And who knows 5 years later this would be a +1!
Yes my life is improving. The more I read about autism, and the more the people around me become sensible, my life slowly but steadily improves.

To Dhawal: I'm happy to hear that your life is improving.

And the baby bathwater saying is a mite disturbing, although I generally understand what it's saying.

8O OMG! I am so sorry! It's just an expression that means "don't get rid of good things while getting rid of the bad things"

It's a very common expression and I absolutely meant nothing personal by it

Thanks for the sympathies/empathies anna-banana! Much appreciated. I'm starting to level out; most of my prior post was frustration.

Good luck getting some rest in the near future to balance out being overworked!

0 Alright, I'm off the ropes and it's time to come out swinging. I've been working on this for years and I KNOW it will work - I've come this far and I won't allow it to fail now...
